I have seen some magicians use the word "silk" in front of audiences. I can understand some were brainwashed because we communicate like that using the word "silk" to each other. I use the word "scarf" in front of my audiences. What word you use?

Scarf or Handkerchief .
Right you are : I would never call them "silks" in front of an audience. Nothing wrong with calling one a "silk scarf" because that's what it is , but the magician-speak term "silk" should be left off stage. (Same thing with sponge balls . I never refer to them as "sponges" or "sponge balls" . Just refer to it as a ball.) |
