On my recent trip to my magic shop, I asked my dealer for Melt Visual Penetration. He said that he was out but showed me a differnt video with the same gimmick but with more tricks then just the "melting" the melt had. It's called now you c it, now you don't starring Meir Yedid. My dealer said the inventor of melt Eric James is just a kid who "thinks" he created a trick. Does anyone know if the gimmick for these two tricks are the same? cause if they are, I feel that james is profiting from a trick he didn't create.

First off Michal Mystic created melt, and don't get it, the angles are terrrible. Especially if you have small hands.

pretty much the same. John Cornelius came up with the hook up along time ago and was featured on a doug henning special.

Johnathan I'm not 100% sure, but I think you're referring to Fickle Nickle/ vanishing nickle which is quite different to Melt (which is very very like Now U C It Now U Don't). It's still pretty poor though. imho.
Eric James is the guy on the Melt video performing and is not the "creator" Michal Mystic. |
