On 2008-10-13 12:11, Doug Higley announced randomly: I am tempted to go troweling back though old threads to find those comments of interest that we all know are there. However I think this experience with an elephant must take the grand prize. It reminds me of an elephant I once saw at a zoo. He was moving his bowels. This was not such a memorable experience, except that a little boy near me made the loud announcement... "IT'S DOODY DADDY!" Daddy thought it was funny, as did several others, but Daddy made the mistake of laughingly repeating the silly phrase. The kid liked that, and so began chanting the two words over and over. Poor Daddy, the kid probably kept chanting that all day. Later I was telling someone that story, and I used the phrase "Relieving himself" for the elephants action that starts the story. The person I was telling misunderstood and asked, "How can an elephant *********? did he use his trunk?" That question was funnier than the original kid's phrase!

Nuts, the auto blocker cut out the word. It was the "M" for for self pleasuring.

Masticating?
Magic is doing improbable things with odd items that, under normal circumstances, would be unnessecary and quite often undesirable.

These are lyrics to a song that Doug wrote for me to perform (under the pen name Josh Higley):
I am Spunky with a spirit I have Spunky spirit Do the spirit Do the Spunky Do the Spunky Spirit While Hangin' in the trees just feel the breeze enjoy the ride While hangin' in the trees always look on the bright side (this last line (only) in tune of and ala Monty Python Life of Brian if you can) I am Spunky with a spirit I have spinky spirit Do the spirit Do the Spunky Do the Spunky Spirit If life gives you clay make a pygmy if life gives you a pygmy call him Clay What the hay, it's all Spunky Spirit anyway I am Spunky with a spirit I have spinky spirit Do the spirit Do the Spunky Do the Spunky Spirit all the way! Here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1IKcgiUb8Q The comments by sevillaparasol are from our own banned member Randy Stewart.

The funny thing about that song (besides the obviously talented Josh) is that some of those words were being used in a thread...like 'spunky' and 'spirit' and 'hangin in the trees' (if I remember corectly) but that thread is lost to time and the Café archives.
But such is the way top hits are made. "I saw an elephant throw up once' also had a relevence to the thread I think but can't find the thread. I am rarely random...unless provoked.

I think the potentially Broadway-bound team of Higley & Superfluous should create a musical based on the writings of Jonathan Townsend.

CJ, the trouble is that nobody would totally understand such a musical except Jonathan Townsend.
