" Infestation "

How many gathered here have some form of phobia? I know, I do! Snakes and spiders top many lists.

My chosen nemesis is the rat. Filthy, flea laden vermin. I Know I hate them. I am aware that I fear them too.
I sense they may fear me as well. Rats understand human frailty. They adapt to their environment. Tough and cunning; always finding time to procreate at an alarming rate. Part of a devious master plan, I am convinced. By sheer numbers they will overwhelm us.

Incessant gnawing and tunneling, they burrow far below. Beneath our feet; in a porous labyrinth of mazes, their hungry numbers grow. Weakened, foundations crumble, buildings tumble. Many die, but others lie trapped beneath debris.

In darkness await the hand that fate has dealt. Something is digging feverishly to reach them. Can you hear ? They're very near. They break through, come into view. Not rescue teams, but rats it seems, looking for a meal. Being smart, they start with a tender part. Lips, ears and nose, fingers and toes.
When you get home tonight, do not sleep too tight. I worry that you may not hear them scurry.

Don't be scared, be prepared. Produce a realistic rubber Halloween rat for the kicker.

Whee! I can't wait. My grandkids, especially and their friends will really be freaked out by this!

I can imagine having a bunch of kids sit on the floor and you come out with the u8sual flashlight up on the face telling that story. As you do, you secretly place rubber rats all around you, but covered by your body so the kids can't see them until you get to the end and stand up, point the light down at the rats and give a blood curdling scream. There will be a lot of bed wetting that night.

My girlfriend, Colleen, has been producing rats in her shows for years. People love it despite the "Ewwws."

TO the non bunny fanciers, a different tale has been shared in a PM.
My initial thought was it could be recited by one of the pumpkins manufactured by AXtell. The pumpkin lifted from a paper bag could weave the tale of his impending demise himself; as a pie or something equally hideous.
