I'm tickled how Harley cuts to the bone. Maybe he meant you should stick it to the man... But then we would have more innuendo puns.

A button, eh?

All these things we can do. I still have trouble with buttons. Buttonholes, too.

POSTED FOR TIM;

The clarify.

The reviews of Jim Rose's latest show that are posted on my MySpace Blog
are of the show that he did at the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland earlier this
year. This is a show that was designed by Jim Rose and was supposed to be his
big comeback after a 10 year absence.

You can see the reviews by going to my MySpace page at
_www.myspace.com/zamoratk_ (http://www.myspace.com/zamoratk) and then going to the blog.

These are not reviews of the show "The Most Interesting Show in The World"
that is touring in the US. This show is hosted by Jim Rose and (thankfully) not
created by him.

If anyone has any doubt to the legitimacy of the reviews of Rose's
Edinburgh show just use "The Google" and put in the terms "Jim Rose Circus,"
Edinburgh, 2008 and Review.

Even I surprised as to how bad the reviews were. They are even worse than
the reviews for Cris Angel's Vegas show.

But to clarify again, the reviews on my blog are of Rose's Edinburgh show,
not the show he is now MCing. I have not seen either one of these shows, or
Angel's show for that matter, and have relied on reviews by other, both in the
media and personal reviews, to learn the contents of all of these shows.

Nope you have it wrong - he is an english guy who recently did a review on learnign to read! He tols everyone they should be using phoncis. I saw him a few months ago at a dyslexia conference. He had googled himself not long before the conference and was "surprised at the result" I was pretty much the ONLY one laughing of the 400 people. Smile Well I appreciated it anyway.

I saw the show last night and will write a proper review later tonight. No time this morning but in a nut shell I felt like I was watching A.G.T. I think four of the acts were from that show. Mark Faje was cool and Lilia is gorgeous. Mr. Rose wasn't what I had hoped. They will be in Atlanta tonight.

I was on the guest list last night (Not really but I did get in with a comp) and the Dos Equis was FREE for me ... So the show was pretty good Smile

I knew nothing of the performer prior to the show. Complete ignorance!(Really) So I am a pretty neutral source for a review.

My wife would have loved seeing all of the America's Got Talent contestants. About a 50/50 thing for me.

I spoke with Rose a couple of times and he seemed like a nice fellow.

The Vegasy dude who opened the show was pretty entertaining. I was laughing Smile

The Beer was Good Smile

The Show was Free.

I'm sure many people LOVED it.

IMHO it wasn't the most interesting show I've seen, but I'm glad he's trying.

Mark Faje is amazing. I'm very surprised that he was working with Rose from some of the things I've heard through the grape vine.

Did he do the lawn mower balance?

Okay, now I have time.

Jim Rose was just an Emcee. He opened with a good Razor Blades routine but that was all he did as for performance. I had hoped to see more sideshow stunts. I talked with him after the show and he seemed like a nice guy.

The Amazing Kenichi did a fine job of dancing, considering he had a broken leg. What a trooper.

Melody Sweets was VERY entertaining.

Leonid the magnificent got the biggest response from the crowd, including me. Standing O. His sword dagger balance got the best response. Especially when he did the splits with it.

Dai Andrews was not present.

Johnny Fayva worked the crowd very well and came out after the show to keep on entertaining. I think he should have been the Emcee and Mr. Rose could have done more.

Liilia Stepanova, as I already said Gorgeous. And very talented. Great contortion act and archery with her feet!

Mark Faje, as stated did a great job of entertaining everyone. Crazy stuff he does. Yes he did the lawn mower balance and cut two x's in an apple held in the mouth of a Dos Equis/Heiniken rep. He also did the scorpion down the pants while kicking a bowling ball to his head, that has a knife sticking out of one hole and fire out of the other two.

They also had a quartet singing group from A.G.T. that was not in the program.

And yes there was free beer so I had a great time. The crowd could have been more lively. It was a corporate private event so they all knew each other. Not as good as a cold crowd of strangers.

I would see it again for sure. Just don't expect to see much sideshow.

I saw the show last night in NYC. Rotten's review as stated above is 100% accurate! Except for the free beer. Leonid was the most entertaing act on the show. He's basically a drag performer who is really talented. He got the best response.
Dai Andrews wasn't there.
Not sure about Kenichi...he dances...ok...
Mark Faje was right on. Loved the scorpion in the pants.
There was a song and dance group from Harlem, the James Gang, guess they never heard of Joe Walsh...they were really good.
Jim Rose didn't do much but emcee.
All in all the production dance numbers were fun as was the whole show.

I did the teaser party for this event back in September in NYC. Did the razors and sword swallowing.

The James Gang is great, they perform at the Box in NYC regularly.
