Imagine, levitating an object with no strings whatsoever. This wand is actually a miniature Van de Graff generator, and touching it to the mylar object induces a charge. Now they repel each other, or in this case, magically levitate the object. Dress up the wand, reshape the mylar object, perhaps "wrap" an object and switch it out, or just plainly tell the audience of its mechanisms. Who wouldn't be mystified? |

Interesting, but if it's being marketed as a toy, kids are going to be familiar with it...
Still, toys come and go, so it might be good to get a few of these and store them for a few years for later use... It looks pretty cool! Very "Harry Potter-esque." Lyndel |

'...Oooh Very nice.
Don't worry that kids will be familiar with this. Use it in your act and then sell them at the end and double your fee. You must be able to get them wholesale. Even better if you put a sticker over the packaging with your info' on and hint that they are a 'Marvo-the-Magician' exclusive trick only available at this gig. (I did say hint so no laws broken). Magic may be an art but it's also a business'. theMag1c1an |
