Jim Gerrish's "Spirit Cabinet Illusion" in his PVC Pipe Illusion Book 3 is a PVC Pipe version of this effect, but the subject is hardly one for this "Smooth as Silk" forum. It should be discussed in either the Grand Illusion section or the Bizarre Section. The only connection between the cabinet and silks is that it can be used with a dancing silk effect, but even the dancing silk was done with a regular men's handkerchief long before magicians began doing everything with silks.

I saw it in Abbott's catalog and thought it would be a good follow up to a silk production ... then after the cabinet ..go into the old version of Don Wayne dancing hank ....ending it with the silk back in the cabinet ..
How big it the cabinet ? has anyone seen the ones they are making now?

Realize that to use this cabinet it takes two other people to work the hank.

Thanks Richard. The ad for it makes it seem like a one man effect.

Not normally. It is a one performer with two assistants working their butts off.

Richard correct me if I'm wrong.....in the Blackstone Act only one is really working their butt off the other is more like an anchor.....The Bergeron book on Willard the Wizard shows how to work this with the magi and 1 assistant in a pinch...beautiful effect when everything is right!
