I wonder what the Department of the Treasury would think about the look and feel of real currency?
BTW if you are going for accuracy - I think I heard there are no bills in denominations over $100.00 made these days. The 500 has been out of circulation years ago. I think our current Treasury Secretary was embarassed by that question. Oh BTW, I know this from a background of commercial art and printing - If you order paper with a rag content nearing 100% Your name is automatically submitted to the treasury. They want to keep track.

I wonder what they would think about photo coping it to,,LOL, i don't know how your state is, but you ever walk into a copy place and ask them to photo a bill an't going to happen. Now as for the treasury, you think they wouldn't say something about making gimmicked coins as well, or how about other money effects? I'd say yes, so im thinking someone got permission to do so some where along the lines to do that. Besides anyways the bills been payed for and there cut off set, so my kid cut them wrong..LOL, but an't like there going to care much as to what you do with them now, whos going to make counterfit bills mismade anyways. One last thing here in this post i bought a miny one dollar americain bill and its real but been shrunk has anyne seen this yet? Its says its real currancy and can be spent.

To my learned friend and compeer in Canada, the reason the U.S. treasury would not get too upset over gaffed coins is that they are made from real coins, and the work involved gaffing them costs more than the original coin.
In order to photo copy a mismade onto any decent rag content paper you are not just defacing money, which while illegal has always been looked at as important as not spitting on the sidewalk, but you are reproducing something of value for much less than it's face value.
