Pepo,
That would be very difficult to find as there are many, many coincidence card effects. And for the 1st one, very hard. Rennie
The effect is the important thing, how you achieve it is not.......

? Is it the "Do As I Do" plot you are referring to with two decks where both performer and participant select matching cards? There is a whole chapter of them in "The Encyclopedia of Card Tricks" that might prove helpful.

There must be a 100 or more variations of the Card Coincidence plot using 2 decks of cards going back countless years. If wanting to know who came up with the original idea, someone with a VERY high degree of card knowledge, and is well read, will have to answer that one.
If just looking for one of the best to perform, I would suggest taking the plot a little further with: "Triple Coincidence," by John Scarne. You can find it in the book "Stars Of Magic," which has recently been reprinted. Very good material in this publication as well, and not just with cards. |

Cardician99 is right about Scarne's trick being one that always gets a good response from spectators due to three coincidences. Vernon had a clever extension of this which circulated through the underground in the early 70's; in it there is a fourth cooincidence. It is described by Steven Minch in one of the Vernon Chronicles books.
