I understand the meanings of the red coffee cup icons (unread posts), but what does a red topic title signify?

Clinton, is it just one topic title? when you move you mouse over another title, does it change to red?
If so, click on the preferences tab in the upper right corner of the page. Near the bottom of the options is one that says "always show hover color". Make sure that is checked to know. It should fix your situation.

That's not it. Sometimes the actual text of some of the topic titles is red, while the vast majority are in yellow. I'm just wondering about the significance of the red titles.

OK, I'll take one more shot at it. Look at one of the titles that is yellow. Double click on it like you would do normally to read the topic. Now go back to the original page. Is the title of that forum in red now? If it is, then the red is just telling you that you have opened that topic. It has no other significance.

Since it appears when I log onto the site, I guess it means that nothing new has been posted since I last read the topic. But, the topics I have read don't always show up in red.
It's not that big a deal. I have just been curious for a while...
