Great! Bring back that lovin' feeling David!

I'm all for another David Copperfield special. The guy definitely has real talent.

The only ironic thing about this petition is that DC has also played around with the camera in the past. Some of his most famous illusions could not be performed in front of a live audience. David has also greately benefited from editing his TV work.

Trust me, I'm no Chris Angel fan. I think he's sort of ruined (at least for me and my buddies) the whole concept of magic on TV. That's the danger when you start fooling around with the TV camera.

But just like Doug Henning who opened the door for Copperfield to walk in, David was the one who started all this TV camera mess and now Chris is just walking through the door that David opened for him.

The thing is, in the end, you could still go and see David on tour and watch 99% of what you saw on his specials. Criss can't really say the same thing for himself. That's one of the big reasons why his Cirque show is getting such negative reviews. People are going to it expecting him to walk across a pool of water and get run over by a steamroller, and instead, they get to watch him cut a woman in half.

Well the numbers are growing ever day. Love to see all the magic fans that grow up with DC to support this.

Even with all the petitions I highly doubt its going to happen. David is too tired. Give the man a break.

Magic is an art, not camera editing! We magicians work hard, and our talent cannot be wasted. The world must experience true magic again!

I'd love to see a new Copperfield special. Does he have the material? LMAO! He's Copperfield dude. He's got whatever he wants, and if he wants some new gear, he's got the $$$. Question is, does he want to do a totally new show? Hopefully. But I agree, he is tired, at least with touring. I don't know him, so I can't understand why he doesn't want to settle down somewhere. But hey, if he wants to tour, he will, and we will still go see him.

On the other hand, it seems like magic might be making a comeback on TV. The WMA is coming up (even though it is on our least favorite network) and in short time, we should see other new and exciting magicians with TV specials. It seems to me like more people are accepting magic these days, and shows seem more interested in having magicians on etc...Just keep doing magic the best you can and let's continue to give magic a GOOD name! And yes, let's hope Copperfield will do one more!

I just came back from Vegas where David gave me a tour of his warehouse/museum (which is great, BTW).
He is working on new stuff all the time, and he has enough new illusions to do another TV special!
