Greetings! Over the past couple of weeks I have received several emails wishing me to address a problem that some people are having with step one of Sinful - slamming the signed coin through the sealed can.
There are a handful of cans out there that are manufactured in such a way that make accomplishing the first step as taught on the DVD impossible. Well... I have a solution. It's a very simple one - so simple that I think it has been overlooked. I have filmed a quick video discussing this solution - if you do not own Sinful, the video won't make much sense to you, but if you are familiar with the handling it should answer your questions. This Monday, November 3rd I'll be sending out a special newsletter with a link to the video - to everyone signed up for the WH Newsletter. If you were one of the people having problems with the first step and would like to see my solution, take a minute a sign up by filling out the form at http://www.waynehouchin.com I just wanted to drop by and give you guys a heads up - in case you're interested. Have a great weekend and I'll talk to you soon! |

Thanks Wayne!
This effect is awesome. I perform a lot of magic, but have people tell me a year or two after watching me perform Sinful that it was the one that blew them away the most. I haven't really had problems with the first phase, but make sure I use cans I'm familiar with. I'm looking forward to the newsletter. Never hurts to learn more! If I can use some of the "problem" cans, it will be even more versatile. Thanks, Sammy

May I point out for the Europeans that one of the cans that works best is the Dr. Pepper one. I tried dozens of cans but that one seems to be the best.

Does anyone have any advice for which cans work best for Sinful these days? I used to it with Coke / Dr Pepper, but the can design has changed in the last 12 months and it makes the first phase nearly impossible.

I always have had luck with Coors Light cans. They have an extra wide lip. I don't know if you'd get away with using that beverage in the UK, though. You might get slapped...
Sorry to say, I haven't tried performing it with a soda can recently, so I'm not going to be much help there.

I hope you read this message, no need to respond if you don't want to but I have to say, sinful is the best trick I own, bar none! I showed this at an office I go to a year ago and everytime I go there they talk about it and say I can slam a quarter thru a sealed soda can! It's the only trick I do that has earned me a reputation over there, people don't forget it. I do coin magic and sponge magic, I love sinful because it uses no gimmicks and is beautiful. Just wanted to say thanks for making such a great effect, out of all my tricks this is my best and favorite effect in my own opinion. I didn't used to have problems with the first phase of the trick, but if they changed the can design I may, I'll have to try it out. Kevin |

Has anyone else noticed that the cans are being made a bit different where its making it a bit harder to complete the effect?

Well I usually get Coke Zero and for sake of not giving anything away The Can Talks during that last step if you know what I mean.

I went to Las Vegas for Thanksgiving and bought a 12 pack of Diet Coke. The cans worked even better than ever!
