Hi Platt!

Currently it is not available at any local dealer in US but you can get it direct from me as some have already done on here which I have sent to the US. Just PM me if you are still interested.

Best wishes

I too, thought this won't fool anyone. Then I held it up to the mirror, WOW!!
Very clever and new principle. Typical Carbone clever...

This is very cool. A distant cousin to Paul Harris' "Vanishing Deck".

OK I won't lie, I opened the package and like everyone I said "that's it". And 2 minutes later in front of a mirror "Ok, this guy is a genius". I've tried it tonight live in front of a lay audience and let me tell you that it worked like a charm. I know a few other wayt to make a deck vanish but believe me this one is gold.
Angelo, keep on being such a creative guy

Indeed...don't be surprised by that delayed reaction....shows us what we know!

Delayed Jiffy Bag gratification!!! "DJBG"...I like it.

It's for "them" not "us" and I bet "them" is gonna be well fooled! Great invention!

I totally agree with Tom's assessment. I too thought 'Is that it?' until I tried it out in front of the mirror.

Isn't this basically the same as RIOT?

Sahunhong, it is entirely different. Angelo's relies on an amazingly deceptive opticle illusion. Angelo's does not use the classic vanishing deck methology that Riot uses. I prefer Angelo's humbug a great deal.

Thank you for the compliments guys. Yes it may not look like it can do much at first glance but it is a REAL fooler.

Here are what some other magicians say:

Rocco:
"I don't but card tricks, but this I want. This shocked me! I'm doing it on TV."

Andy Nyman:
"Humbug looks like real magic and it's easy to do. It is sooooo clever."

Martin Breese:
"Humbug is one of the most miraculous effects I have seen in years."

Will Houstoun:
"I have never seen such a clean, visual and easy vanish of a deck of cards before. Get it. You won't regret it."

I received my Humbug gimmick the other day. It's about what I thought it would be which is fantastic. Very clever and very practical. I performed it for my wife and immediately repeated it. Fried and fried again. As with all of Angelo's work, I find myself asking 'why didn't I think of that?' Now if he'd just make an oak Prison Box...

Received mine today, as well. Very clever! I'll need to work with it a bit before I actually perform it, but I can already imagine a number of applicable variations.

Thanks Angelo!

Angelo, I think I should tell you that I have now tried it out on my two very cynical sons, both of whom were blown away. It is one of those tricks that you just need the confidence to try it to be convinced that it works and it does without fail.
This is now going straight into my commercial close up act.
Very many thanks.
Happy New Year to you and yours.

Humbug is brilliant, a strong effect with an ingenious method. Get it from Angelo while you can.

Angelo, I hope you will continue making your ideas available to the magic community for a long time. Thanks a lot for Out of Order, Humbug, ...!

Thank you Terry and Snape. Smile

For those who may be tempted but not sure, Tom Frame has reviewed Humbug on the Genii Magazine Forum, so you can find out a bit more about it.

Dear Angelo and everyone,

Humbug sounds interesting!
So Humbug is actually a gimmick for deck vanish?
But also possible for "riot type" of rising card effects?

Can the gimmick be easily palmed away?
How about the angles? Is it angle sensitive?
(Sorry for a lot of questions!)

I don't have Riot but after reading reviews it seems like it's not that good.

Humbug is a gimmick for a deck vanish and can also be used for elevating card. Yes the gimmick is easily palm-able and there really aren't any angle issues. Hope this helps.
