Corona makes an excellent point which is worthy of its own thread...which method do you prefer for catching mice and why?
I like the intricate mice catching web, and three week set up for a good duct tape trap. But I love the complexity of the cleverly designed blunderbuss, and the fact its available in 78 colours. (More than Heniz). |

I am starting to think both might be good fun.
Duct taped mouse, blunderbussed. Less chance of missing. |

I've never thought about stick and shoot before.
You expand my mind Corona. |

That's because it was a completely original thought, no one has ever had before. Its a world exclusive! Wait until Warner Brothers hear about it, there will be a revolution in animated film!

Tape and glue traps are a very cruel and agonizing way to kill mice. Kill 'em quick with a spring loader trap, I say. Or a cat.

True Gaddy, and I've noticed that the Gaffa tape gives them a rash too, but the blunderbuss soon clears that up.

Just saying...
We gotta kill mice, but we don't have to be cruel about it.

Okay, my brain just came up with the image of someone catching mice, then giving them tiny knitting needles and forcing them to slave away in a sweatshop knitting stockings.

Sounds like a similar situation when I was in the Bahamas and I'd just finished my drink and the bar was about to close.

John Smith is usually a safe bet, unless that isn't his name.

Only two goes left, and the baby has icicles on his toes, the mice just laugh.

You could just keep the little one under the carpet?

We burned the carpet for heat last year.

The game "mousetrap" was quite creative, but impractical for real life, I mean by the time you've got 27 on the dice the mice has finished eating all the cheese and ran away.
My favorite method of catching mice is using a ladder with a rung missing on one side of the ladders. Underneath the ladder you place a big bowl of ice cream. Top of the ladder put a piece of big cheese down. The mouse will smell the cheese then run up the ladder and eat the cheese, on its way down it will fall down the hole where you've removed the rung and fall into the bowl of ice cream thus catching pneumonia and then will die. |
