I took it out for a few test drives...

It plays well in the "real world".

One person I showed used to be into and had some basic knowledge of 4 card matrix.
He was entertained and fooled. He said thanks for sharing that with me.

As I play with it more, I will try the kicker ending Tim suggested.

Oh what fun....it is to give...and play..

What a great gift, Tim. Maybe you'll start a wave of giving on the Café and we can all contribute something to our fellow magi in the Spirit of the Holidays!

I actually missed the download window. Smile But it's the thought that counts and coming from someone who is feeling a bit of a crunch makes it even more special.

Tim, now I can see why you won the raffel at the convention. Smile

Another magician lost his job around our area dealing with cars. He is now putting more time into learning how to perform parlour shows. You might want to try searching for a restaurant to perform at in the downriver area since you are great at close-up. If you are interested in receiving more information dealing with performing magic in restaurants, send me a PM.

Another thing you might want to do is put a coin DVD together. I'm sure you will get a lot of customers, not just because how you perform, but also because of how you teach. I know that from what I learned from you at the convention.

Another idea you might want to think about is giving lectures. I think Eric sold out of everything as he did his lecture. I bet the same thing will work for you because of your skills. If you are interested in putting the lecture material together, I can guide you to certain areas.

The last thing that comes to mind this moment is advertising for free on the internet. There are many places you can advertise for with no charge. You can advertise the type of magic you feel most comfortable doing for corporations, graduations parties, holiday events, etc.

Magic is decreasing in our area for a lot of magicians because of the economy. That is why I started doing street busking this year.

Thanks for taking your time to give the early presents.

Good luck.

Tim, thank you very much for the download. Great thinking! (Good chops, too.)

I'll keep you in my prayers regarding your job future -- good luck and keep a positive attitude. Not to get political, but I believe that if Congress was willing to bail out AIG, I think they'll have to bail out the auto industry. (After all, the big 3 are asking for much less than the Wall Street firms...)

This topic is continued at My X-mass gift continued.
Humans make life so interesting. Do you know that in a universe so full of wonders, they have managed to create boredom. Quite astonishing.
