It looks cool enough to use. The one I use is from a free video with great instructions on it: http://www.theory11.com/1on1/
scroll down till you find Classic Color Change, simply download and watch! totally free. |

Sorry, what I meant is: does anyone use this handling. I believe that this is the Erdnase change, just done very well, but I could be wrong. And as for the T11 video, its an ok tutorial if you don't know the Erdnase, but I would guess that most do.

This change is super old, going back to Leipzig and probably sooner. More recently however we must mention the great John Carney and David Ben for their added finesse which is what make the change awesome. it looks pretty *** nice though, and I love Ricky's presentation |

The Wave Change, Giobbi's Card College Vol 3.
Giobbi performs it at 0:55 in the clip. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=skt34cAcS2g I would put the $5 toward CC and get a whole chapter on Color Changes and lots more. http://magicref.tripod.com/books/giobbicollege3.htm |

It never fails to amaze me how much of a steal the Card College series is. I'm constantly learning new things (or remembering old things) from even the first volume!
It's always nice to get some of the stronger moves/effects pointed out when I don't feel like continuing my cover-to-cover read. Thanks! |

Ricky really is one of the funniest Magicians I have had the pleasure of meeting and sessioning with. His vowell effect is brilliant, Cherry control is insane, and he can perform everything from Unseen Forces flawlessly! He is just sheer class!

Nope, not the Erdnase Color Change and I agree with Ben that in the hands of young Master Smith it's purdy magical! I use this change a lot and it always gets a good response! I'll be seeing Ricky, Ben and a bunch of the other young guns of card magic tomorrow and it should be quite entertaining!

This really didn't do much for me, especially since they don't show how he gets into position for the change. And Doesn't Giobbi recommend keeping the thumb in place over the face of the deck on a change like this? (to preclude the possibility that a card is added or removed).
Personally, I'm more preferential to shapeshifter, Sankey's handling of the Erdnase change, or something along the lines of Troy Hoosier's Zombie change. To each his own, eh. |
