Nice to hear. That is classy indeed.

Would of been classier if they did their research before the cat was out of the bag.

Yeah, but compared to some other fiascoes around here nobody had to goad anyone to do the right thing. So far no rationalizations nor excuses, just call the creator and fix it. Yes, better research should have been done, but doing the right thing is a virtue now.

This is not the same as Blind Luck by Dan Paulus.I have both and can assure you that Election is different.
The method is not new but who cares? The output is what matters imho.

Dan Paulus version wins for the any deck "impromptu" situation and Election wins over the "seems to happen in spectators hand".

Cheers

I second Elcio.

I think they are quite different.

Personally, I like election better since you don't need to touch the deck.

It all happens in the spectators hands

I just downloaded this as I was intrigued as to the difference to Dan's version. Same basic principle but with an added, improved feature. Very good value for money. A killer routine. Sounds like the performer in the download has just smoked a huge joint.

Killer trick with a Bruce Lee kicker climax!

Pros: Easy to peform.

Cons: Way to cheap. This should be sold for at least 59.95
Will be all over youtube soon.

Did I mention that you can do this with two regular decks and openly display that fact?

AND most important: You can do it naked. Smile

This years award for best value/price magic effects and customer service should definatively go to Papercrane. What do you think Gentlemen?

Cards in Election can be more freely displayed while in Blind Luck magician spreads cards. Both are good and both can be used on different occasions.
My choice is for Election due to spectators handling cards.

Hi all,

Just got the download as well.
I must say I like this better than Blind Luck.
Also must add that its a very practical method, and I will be performing this.

Thanks Papercrane

Does no one think this effect is kinds ballsy? I mean, you could get busted on it.

1. the spec feels the necessary something
2. if they don't do a perfect cut, the two cards might not be aligned.

know what I mean?

Its not very ballsy in my oppinion. I think it is one of the simplest effects I do which is why I think so many people are enjoying this effect.

If you use the alternative gaff to what the performer uses, and a very little at that, it works fine.

No offence, but As Eric owns the book and so do I, the published works of Antony Gerard's Card A-Tack. The name of the trick is "Back to Back". As we all know many tricks many times come about from many different people. I think the published date was in the late 70s. He got permision from Tony to use it.

I call bs on so many people who try to act like they know how this works. The things written in here show fully if you have not seen the method. bash me if you want but so much hot air from people rewiewing a product they have not seen.

Gabriel - I'm sorry but I can't really understand your post - most of your sentences aren't making much sense.

I have election and don't like the gaff. The necessary something displayed in the instructions is both too large and too 'fresh' IN MY OPINION. I'll be changing it.

What's your beef? And why would anyone bash you?
