Oh wow, I love that Jester bag, I might have to make something similar. Give me a reason to use my sewing machine again Smile

Currently, I have a Pearstone lens case that I use.

It fits my RNT2 mendoza cups perfectly with room for a load ball and a breakdown wand. The black velvet bag the cups came with was slightly too small for the cups and did not close up all the way so I looked for something else. I might pick up another one, the Pearstone 70

to put my brass brass bazar de magia cups in.

Thanks. That bag takes quite a while to make.

Along with Donnie at Rings & Things, and Frank, Brett Sherwood also sells nice drawstring bags for cups.

Based on ThunderSqueak's post I did an image search for "Camera lens case" and saw a bunch of possibilities. For some reason it won't let me post a clickable URL here for that page, but do that image search and take a look...seems like dozen's of choices.

I simply made a change bag that would hold my cups horizontally along the bottom of the bag. It makes getting rid of the extra ball a breeze, and is big enough to hold the cups and all of the load balls. It took less than one afternoon to make.

Advice:
Use a quality cording for the draw string. The thicker cording is less likely to tangle or knot, and looks far more decorative.
Make using it easier and add a different patch to either side, or make the commitment to embroider something on it (I found a friend who did embroidery for me as a birthday present).

The original post was about a drawstring bag, but just in case anyone is looking for a zippered bag to protect larger cups like the Gazzo cups in transit, the "ESDDI Lens Case Extra Thick Protective Neoprene Lens Pouch for DSLR Camera Lens" bag on amazon fits the Gazzo cups perfectly.

Hi
I have made many of these type of bags from Christmas Stockings. I have found them in many different colors and patterns,
You need a sewing machine or needle and thread. Just turn one inside out and sew a straight line across the bag just above the angle for the foot. Go over it a few times for strength and then just cut off the bag below your sewing line, now when you turn it back right side out it will be a squared bottom. Usually these stocking have a cuff at top, I put a rope around the cuff and tack it with three or four stitches so the rope won't come out of the cuff and there you have it a draw string bag for cups and balls or whatever.
I've gotten most of mine from Christmas tree shops and other discount stores.
I'll take a photo and post it soon....

Christmas stocking conversions? That's brilliant!
Especially with the variety of stockings available.
I will certainly file that info for future use...
