Hey guys,
I've done some searching on the forums concerning Cardiographic but I have yet to ponder upon this question: I'm about to purchase the effect, but from every video I've seen, the magician has two hands on the pad as the card rises. In Copperfield's presentation you could remove one hand and wave it over the card as the card rises from the paper. Do you have to modify the gimmick to be able to use one hand or is that an option? Thanks in advance! |

I've done it with one hand without any modification. Its not very hard to do.

Hi Larry,
Thanks for the information! I've always found it strange that in most of the performances the magician has both hands on the pad...it seems a lot more suspicious than if you just had one hand holding the pad. One hand isn't suspicious because you have the hold the pad..it's perfectly natural. I had thought that maybe you needed both hands because I didn't understand why anyone wouldn't do it that way if it didn't need any modifications. |

Some use two hands to steady and frame the pad.
