I am unsure whether my routine is original or not(and whether I am posting in the right section), so before I make any claims, I would like to have a couple members of the Café read over my document.
If you are interested, please send me a PM with your email. As for the effect, Quote:
The Effect: A spectator chooses a card, which is then lost back into the deck. The deck is shuffled very cleanly, while clearly showing the faces of cards. Then, with a snap of the performer’s fingers, the spectator’s chosen card rises to the top. But, when the spectator is convinced that the trick is over, the selection is revealed to have an odd back. Following another snap of fingers, the whole deck is revealed to have blank faces. there is also a presentation of this effect that resembles Peter Nardi's thoughtless, but mine is better in a sense that the second deck is ungimmicked, and can be used to comence with other effects. Like I said, if this interests you, or if you're an expert on the history of blank deck tricks, shoot me a PM, and I will send you a review copy of the effect. Thanks, Thomas |

As far as this effect's history goes, I had been performing it for several months, and have decided to give it a shot on publishing it after seeing how lame Tony Miller's Kolossal Blizzard is. (no offense)

Hello Thomas,
I only just came across this thread in the course of looking for a review of Thoughtless. What has come of your creation? I do Blizzard, but am looking for something different. Are review copies of your creation still available, or otherwise available? Thanks. Alan |
