How about this?

Tumor in Colorado newborn's brain contained foot
December 18th, 2008 in Medicine & Health / Other

(AP) -- A pediatric neurosurgeon says a tumor he removed from the brain of a Colorado Springs infant contained a tiny foot and other partially formed body parts.

Dr. Paul Grabb said he operated on Sam Esquibel at Memorial Hospital for Children after an MRI showed a microscopic tumor on the newborn's brain. Sam was 3 days old and otherwise healthy.

Grabb said that while removing the growth, he discovered it contained a nearly perfect foot and the formation of another foot, a hand and a thigh.

"It looked like the breach delivery of a baby, coming out of the brain," Grabb said. "To find a perfectly formed structure (like this) is extremely unique, unusual, borderline unheard of."

Grabb isn't sure what caused the growth but says it may have been a type of congenital brain tumor. However, such tumors usually are less complex than a foot or hand, he said.

The growth may also have been a case of "fetus in fetu" - in which a fetal twin begins to form within another - but such cases very rarely occur in the brain, Grabb said.

Sam's parents, Tiffnie and Manuel Esquibel, said their son is at home now but faces monthly blood tests to check for signs of cancer or regrowth, along with physical therapy to improve the use of his neck. But they say he has mostly recovered from the Oct. 3 surgery.

"You'd never know if he didn't have a scar there," Tiffnie Esquibel said.

I've never seen balloon blowing this way. However, I've seen a number of folks use their tear ducts to squirt milk or water. Milk shows up better, on camera.

Great article, Reggie! I want to know where in the brain, the extra fetus was located. SInce the areas of sensation and control of both feet and genetalia overlap and intertwine, this becomes topical humor for say, a neurosurgeons conference.

Now I'm gonna have an identity crisis. We might be the same person, except for the accent. I've stuck my foot in my mouth, many times.

And the mustache, of course.

Only once? Usually it take a half a dozen kicks to the head before someone thinks being an outdoor showman is a worthy pursuit.

The question is, did this happen to you when you were a small child?

Back to the topic, I will have to do some research, but I have seen this done in a black and white photo either in a Ripley's book or one of the sideshow books that we are in. The guy also blew smoke and a pipe though his eye duct. I just KNOW this is an old stunt, once I find out I will post proof.

I do know that it's a Ripley's photo. the guy also smoked with his eye. He may have also blown up a balloon with his ear too, not really sure.

I know the photo you mean. It's a classic. But I don't remember whether it's a Ripley photo, or a Kobel.

I've got a bunch of Kobel photos. Got most of them from Bob Blackmar. Others from different sources.

I've got a a box of Ripley's pitch cards in storage somewhere...I think the photo in question is included in that, plus, you can't walk into a Ripley's Museum without seeing the footage or the photo of this guy.

Thinking of Alfred Langevin? This picture came from the Mannix book. I believe there is video footage out there of him smoking his pipe as well.

In the picture on the upper right he looks a bit like Mr. Humphries.
