I'm not exactly what 1 or 2% is, but I drink mainly skim milk. (non fat) Here in Taiwan soya milk is very popular too.

Not sure what fat content the milk over here has, but I think it is quite high!! Wouldnt have it any other way (One of our countries main exports is dairy products - milk powder, butter, cheesee etc). The closer the milk is to "natural" the better. Nothing is nicer than going out on the farm, milking the cow and using the milk straight on your cereal!
Just checked the milk in the fridge, and it has 4grams of fat per 100ml of milk, so maybe someone with a mathematical mind can work out the percentage

Wait till you turn 45 or 50 and have your blood pressure/cholestrol carefully watched by the doc. Then you soon become accutely aware of what kind of milk!
Fully skimmed, with semi skimmed just as a treat. Soya milk is excellent too, and has benefits for you ladies when your body reaches that certain mid-life age! Tony (surgery hours 12 till 4 every April 31st). |

I'm a 2% person, chocolate milk is definitely a good thing.
If anyone sees my sanity, please return it to

I’ve tried Yak milk, goat’s milk, and Mare’s milk but seem to always come back to cow’s milk. I like it in all it’s incarnations (except buttermilk! YUCK!).

The White and Brown kind. I have to drink 2% right now because the fat is good for kids. But I prefer 1%.

Just to broaden the conversation (and controversialise it a bit more!). It has been said (well of British Farmers anyway) that they will get "that stuff" down your throat whatever you do! In other words, you buy skimmed milk for your health, - you buy another product and that very same fat that has been skimmed off your milk has been put in it!! I live in an area where it is almost impossible not see see dairy cows on a daily basis. Whenever stroking and patting and talking to (yes, I talk to cows!) these girls, I always say: "don't worry, I'm not going to eat you" (as we don't eat red meat), I sometimes wonder whether they are thinking: "but yes, we are going to get you, through some massive heart attack one day!!"
