Do you guys know of any way to either make real chocolate coins hard for ever, it doesn't have to be edible. Any ideas on how to make some? Or where to buy them?
I'm up for anything. Jeff |

If they don't have to be edible, do they need to be real? Craft stores sell synthetic clays that can be baked in oven. You could make a plaster mold from a real coin, press said clay to the mold, gently remove it and bake. Castin resins would work as well.

The hardest part will be foil-wrapping them so they look good.

I saw a little baggie of foil wrapped chocolate coins yesterday for sale in a craft store. The store was AC Moore, but these things are all over the place. Check out Party City.

Try buying real choclate coins and peel off the foil carefully, then use the foil as a mould to pour resin in. For each side. Glue the sides together, Then use this as a blank for a proper mould and you are then done. Cast your coins in resin with brown colouring.

Here is an awesome effect I have seen on youtube involving a jumbo coin to chocolate coin.
