Let's be lowbrow. From Ghostbusters:

Quote:
Ray Stantz: Everything was fine with our system until the power grid was shut off by dickless here.

Walter Peck: They caused an explosion!

Mayor: Is this true?

Peter Venkman: Yes it's true. This man has no dick.

Yes, I really did laugh long and loud when I first heard it.
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.--Yeats

"Kick his asz seabass"!!! from Dumb and Dumber, always motivates me when playing video games... to charge forward or hesitate and grow stronger??? No way, go for it and "Kick his @5s seabass!! Or Johnny Depp in the first Pirates movie imploring with the line "to wait for the opportune moment". Always thought that was a good one. But you mix the two together and you get all confuzzled.

I will *never* forget that scene. I rented the movie for no particular reason.

I sat there in stunned silence, with a smile on my face. I was shocked, awed. I had never seen anything like R. Lee Ermey's performance and his use of colorful metaphors (to quote Mr. Spock). He won a well-deserved oscar nomination.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

He was originally hired on as a tech advisor to help the actor playing the DI. When Kubrick saw that the actor wasnt cutting it, he put ermey in. Most of it wasnt scripted, he just went off the top of his head (being a former DI)--when he says ..." I bet you are the kind of guy who would &^%$ another guy and not even have the common courtesy to give him a reach around", Kubrick yelled cut, as he had never heard the phrase "reach around" before, when told he laughed and kept it in. The end when they sing teh mickey mouse song is great also.

Ermey was also in (my #2 of all time films) "apocalypse now", when they assault the town with duvall, he plays a pilot of a chopper.

aslo in "mississippi burning", directed by ANOTHER great director, Alan Parker (of the "wall")

I believe Tarantino rewrote the verse to fit Jules’ character.
