Just curious...

Any word on a section for deaf/severly hearing-impaired magicians here on The Magic Café? I see there was much discussion between 2008 and 2011 -- and then, nothing!

I have a profound hraring loss in both ears, but haven't let it stop my performance of magic since I began back in 1968. Consequently, I would be quite interested in the existence of such a forum here.

Incidentally, I find it almost impossible to locate information about the Society of World Deaf Magicians and its American counterpart. Where are the websites? Where does one go to request a membership application? Since those of us who suffer from such hearing deficiencies use our eyes more than our ears, we need something we can SEE! I find the lack of VISIBLE info in these deaf organizations to be both enigmatic and problematic.

Comments, anyone? Information? Suggestions?

Optimistically looking forward to see what comes of this in the future!
