I do have 2 full routines using the 3cm. I believe I have sent some dvds to a few Café pros.
here is a crazy phase of a routine (perf only) It is not a layman kind of a trick but it is quite fun to perform for those in the know. If you learn this... you may re-work it towards a piece that would be a smash to laymen. See for yourselves. Basically, they pretty much work the same way, but the 3CM is thinner "1 coin" is the thickness of 1 real coin. There are pros and cons to that. .
