Rebuiding a Mental Epic board, and looking for some kind of glue to stick new sheets on top of the existing dry erase surface. Tried rubber cement to no avail.

Needs to be a thin, flat coat to allow the new sheets to remain flat. Any ideas?

Thanks, JD

Several companies, including 3M, make a repositionable spray adhesive.

There are some companies that also make the wipe off marker materials with the glue on it. The 3M spray works well if you coat both surface. Not the repositionable kind but the regular stuff. I think the number is 777 or 727 spray. Make the material a little larger and then trim it with a razor blade.

Thanks Clinton. I was not in the shop and could not think of the name (number).

Forget glue completely. Go to a company that produces vinyl signs - "Fast Signs", "Quik Signs", etc. - and buy some white, glossy self-adhesive vinyl material. Peel and stick that to the original material and never look back.

Thanks Thomas, I will look into that. I'm afraid of spray on adhesives, etc, not sticking to the original dry erase surface.

Thanks again. JD

I can vouch for the dry-erase vinyl that Thomas mentoned above.
