Karen Brown, of Blackstone Magik, confirmed in an e-mail that another series of “Masters of Illusion” is the show replacing “Magic’s Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed.” The news of what show made room was reported in this post on iTricks. Gay Blackstone (pictured), wife of the deceased Harry Blackstone Jr., and Blackstone Magik officials have been taping the show this week. We hope to hear more from her at a later date. But Brown said that everything with the show is going great so far.

According to the press release, the show will be an extension of “Impossible Magic,” which has aired previously on MyNetwork. The call for auditions was also placed in this post on the Magic Café forums. The show is scheduled to air at 9 p.m. Eastern on Mondays starting Jan. 5, 2009. Below is a clip from a previous show:

For those who will now watch MyNetwork, don't forget you will be supporting the network who gave magic a black eye. Let's not be so quick to forget all the rage at the MM.
I didn't watch the World Magic Awards for that exact reason. I won't support MyNetwork or any of their shows.
I suggest Gay Blackstone and others find a network with a little class to work with.

Hopefully, what Gay's show will do is weed out the possibility of the MM returning. True, we did get another black eye, and I do have reserves about supporting MyNetwork. However, if she did pull the plug on the shows, it might prompt the network to start up the MM shows again. What she is doing is awesome; she is curving the network to put magic performance in higher demand rather than exposure. I say, "Good work, Gay." I look forward to seeing her shows.

Now, I suggest we be over with this discussion because we're talking about garbage, and even if this stupid TV show is over (I hope), we must focus on other important things in magic.

Could someone please post a list of the effects he exposed this time? I don't receive MyNetwork in my area and want to find out which effects to avoid in the near future. I appreciate any info.

Don't worry about it ... no one but us watched the show. Just go about your business like nothing happened. It's not worth your time.

As far as Val goes ... karma will eventually catch up to him. He's caused us nothing but grief.

I guess even the most of us didn´t watch it. And I wouldn´t watch it, if it would be sent in Germany... LOL I have better things to do.

It sounds like it's not over to me. This article was talking about how good "My Network" is fairing..................sad to say.............JIMO

It is over. Now, they may try and re-air them again at a later time, and even possibly after the new series of Masters of Illusion airs. That is up to them. The problem is that the Breaking the Magicians Code series did so poorly and got horrible ratings.

I don't believe you guys still talking about this. First place Sam shouldn't start the thread. Second you always said that "don’t talk about it" and you still doing. Third IS IT NOT OVER. They aired the first season and when the Masters of Illusion series over they will continue the revealing show. They are talking over 120 illusions. I counted what JoyJoy put up in his message and that not even half so there will be at least a second series. Why would they stop if they are already invested and made the tapes?

No one ever brought first hand information everyone just speculate. Even Gay can't do anything about it. She is happy for that she sold the idea for the new Masters of Illusion series. All she did delayed the MM second serie.

Pull down a bit and read on the side the green area that will tell you it was the first season and I'm sure it will come more. Even if no one watching the show MyNetwork still winning money because of the sponsors plus they’ll sell the right to other countries. MyNetwork people are not magicians. All they care is money and they will do everything to make more money.
