Hello, everyone! Do you think that learning/practicing card magic/XCM will help you in coin magic? I personally think it might. Nice to hear your opinion.

In general, I believe that you learn valuable lessons from trying different kinds of magic. But, what's XCM?

XCM = eXtreme Card Manipulation
There is a DVD called "Showoff with Coins". Maybe this will help you, Ben.

I think it's all relative, and cards give you a different take on doing a lot of the same types of things in the way of deception as coins. Loads of similarities, but I like coins a bit better. Their overall required discipline has actually made me a bit better at cards in general. Lots of good coin men are pretty good at cards as well, including The Godfather-Vinny Marini and David Roth.
