Greg,

I hope your magicians do take the opportunity to catch Ken Scott's lecture. They should find it to be a very good investment.

Indeed. And we hope you get to town early enough to attend this lecture, too, Bob.

I got back this week from the Ozarks and look forward to going back to the Heartland soon. First I have to go to Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington DC and Tennessee. However, I also really look forward to being in Peoria again.

Seems we have a little glitch in our club's PayPal, so the online registration isn't working properly. If anyone is having trouble setting up a registration, please email me or send a PM. I'll work out something.

Bob,

We have several rooms set aside for attendees at a Super 8 just across the bridge on the highway. (I think some are still available.) Decent standard motel rooms for a fair price. We're not a tourism center so accommodations are reasonable. There are all kinds of places to stay only minutes away, from the clean and cheap to a little more expensive and swanky. If anyone is still looking for a room, PM me and I'll let you know what I find out about the Super 8 rooms. Or I'll try to find you something else in your price range.

Also...

Okay, you've probably noticed we have Ken Scott doing a night-before lecture, Friday evening before the actual convention on Saturday. He's also performing in our evening show on Saturday, the 25th. If you haven't seen him, you'll like him. Lots of funny material.

But here's the news: I received an email from Ken who told me that everyone who attends his Friday evening lecture will get a free copy of his lecture notes. The lecture is only $15 anyway, and with free lecture notes, that's a lot like a bargain! Thanks, Ken. Looking forward to it.

There's only a week and a half left until this event. And to get in on the $45 reduced registration fee you'll have to be in before this coming Monday, April 20. The price goes up $10 the last week. If you have any questions, let me know.

If you haven't committed to attending this convention yet, you have just a couple more days to decide. And the NOAA weather report for Saturday, April 25, is mostly sunny, high in the lower 80s. Very nice.

Greg,

I'm really looking forward to being there again Saturday. You, Jerry, Adam and the others have done a great job of keeping dealers and others informed and prepared to make this another great convention in Peoria.

See you and Ken Scott Saturday!

If Rob Higgins is carrying around a sliver pail / bucket you had better get some shop vacs, dirt devils and tape rollers.
