I found this superb C&B routine on You Tube and thought that I'd share it with you.

I've only become aware of Bebel's magic through these forums recently. Everything he does is top notch.
The ending sequence and loading of the final loads is REALLY good. It's fast paced, but not confusing. Amazing! |

Its fun to watch a sleigh of hand routine like this. Even though you know what is coming, it is a quick routine with lots of laughs and gives a sense of wonder that is hard to beat in cups and balls.
I have seen 'footbags' that look simular to his final loads. The routine fits him well. Thanks! -Scott M |

Amazing... he did the Charlie Miller move 3 times in a row... and remember the thread a short time ago where someone didn't think much of the move? And when Bebel did it it got a very solid audience reaction.
Again, it isn't what you do, it's how you do it.

I think those were "Footbags" or hackie sacks as we call them in MA...
It just occurred to me as I watched this performance that I like the concept of using a hacking sack as a final load... especially when loading out of a jacket pocket. This can be a pain at times because your hand or the loads commonly snag on the material of the jacket. I think the sacks will have enough "give" to be able to be extracted from the pocket with less catching; as the bag has the ability to be smushed or molded to some degree... However the bags will not be perceived from the audience’s perspective as a squishy ball (sponge ball of sorts)... As these are common items.. and most people are familiar that these are solid items… Best of both worlds to some degree... Shawn

Excellent performance! That's how it should look - the routine doesn't look like a series of moves, it looks like magic.

Thank you for sharing that with us Tom. I had the privilege of living in Paris for five years. I saw him perform that same routine several times on warm summer evenings on the street near the Mabillon Metro stop which is where this clip was probably filmed. See the dish for tips? As you know, Bebel is mostly a cardman and an amazing one at that. His skill with the cups is outstanding.
Grand merci! José

Very nice!
Thanks for sharing this video. I agree with Miles... the routine is fast paced but has a certain clarity that makes it very easy to follow.

One thing I particularly like about that routine is the use of sound at the beginning.
It seems to punctuate the 'magic moment'. I think that this is something that ought to be used more. Thank you all for the thanks.

His routine is very character based. The routine is an extention of himself. Very entertaining. Thanks.

For some reazon a prefer the c&b with the performer standing up, however this was beautiful.
