I asked Dan, and his answer was incredibly vague. Just that he got permission from Chalet.
I would think there would be some sort of clause that would require Puchingers permission to sell the license.

Incredibly vague? Interesting. I never got that impression.

Yeah. Everyone is running and pointint out knock offs, but in this case, does the only one "allowed" to build even have permission?
I know that Chalet was given permission from Puchinger, but did Puchinger give permission for Chalet to sell/rent the license?

I can't figure out why you're beating this dead horse. If you're so concerned about it, contact Gunther Puchinger and ask him if he's okay with it. I don't see what the point of this is. This isn't a knock-off situation. Michael |

Warren Stephens was inventor and performer of magic. You will see a lot of his magic advertised in some of the older Tannen's catalogs.

Not vague at all. Thankp. you for clearing it up.
Last in another thread I asked your answer was not as clear, just that you paid for the license. EDIT: Here it is, towards the bottom and the top of the second page: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......&forum=7

I've used Chalet's Kub Zag for more than 3,000 shows in Tahoe and around the world and it still works great! Of course I've done some touch ups here and there but I have to say it's one of the most useful and practical illusions I own. I wish more builders would make stuff this good. Thanks George!

From what I understand, he is only 1 man trying to do many things. Therefore, he may take a while to call you back. But, there is no question, his sub trunk is the best out there. I have one. I love it. Wouldn't trade it for a thing!

Just curious...
Could someone respond to this thread that has gotten anything from Chalet in the last 90 days, and what was it? Thanks, Chris |

If you're trying to contact Chalet Magic, George sent me this note recently:
"I have gone 100% cellular for my shop phone. The phone number is (423) 747-6259. Please delete the 257-2777 number in your address book since it is no longer valid. "I am sure that somebody will call the old number, get an out of service message, then post on the Magic Café that I am out of business. If you are a member of the Café chat group, I would really appreciate it if you would correct the error." Just heading off rumors before they get started. <wink> Dan Wolfe |

I never got my sub trunk from George Kimery. Only promises. I made my order at 2005 December. Not even money back so the guy is thief to me.
Any recommendations of good customer protection companies please PM to me. |
