Did an angel cure Chelsea Banton's pneumonia?

Some doctors say yes, and they have a photo to prove it. But not everyone agrees.

What do you think caused the photo to look like this?

Thanks for the link! I'll pass it on. These kind of stories uplift me!
As the man said: "Beloved you can believe and receive, or you can doubt and DO WITHOUT."

I choose to receive. Doing without stinks.

Sorry, but that's a beam of sunlight from an open window, falling at a serendipitous angle on a mostly-open door and its two lintels.

I'm going back to looking for the BVM in my pancakes.

My mom was boating with my dad in Lake Champlaine (sp) shortly before I was born and she fell off the boat and was drowning. My dad even though a good swimmer, was not able to rescue her..and mom SWEARS she hears angelic singing! That's right, she heard angels singing. Of that you can not unconvince her.

End of story, she is here today.

In my wifes case a guy was leaving the restaurant and heard the screaming (that is right, the best way to respond to an emergency is screaming) and he turned back to see what was going on. This guy did CPR on her for 8 minutes which kept blood and oxygen going to the brain etc, most people quit efforts at around 45 seconds. The reason it took so long for the EMTs to get there is the person who called 911, being a genius, gave her home address rather than the address where the emergency was. If this guy had not done the CPR they could not have gotten her heart going again. To give you an idea of how lucky she was, my wife, they told me that less than 4% of those who have full cardiac arrest have their heart restarted (CPR keeps blood etc going it usually, in adults, doesn't get the heart going). She had to have hers kick started four times. I was told she had died then a few minutes later I was told she was alive again. They then said that there was a very low chance that she wouldn't have severe brain damage but other than some memory issues she actually has no brain damage. Well, the fellow who did the CPR left, no name, never was seen again, and even an article in the paper about him failed to get him to surface. So the wife thinks he was an angel. I think, based on his character as described to me by the firemen and waitress, he was very anal and that is the type of guy who was told in CPR class not to stop so he wasn't going to stop and he really, unlike most who claim it, saved my wifes life.

I found the story quite interesting, especially since the doctors attested to the miracle.

MagicSanta brings up a good point about the man saving his wife's life. I don't want to start a theological discussion or debate, but for those who believe in the teachings of the Bible, there's a passage I recall that talks about being kind to strangers, because we may end up being kind to an angel without realizing it.

So, according to some, angels walk among us without us ever realizing it.

I know, I know, there are many people who are quite skeptical of such claims. I count myself as one of those on the skeptical side. But for those who have encountered such experiences as MagicSanta's wife, one would be hardpressed to convince them otherwise.

It also means if ever in a situation where CPR is needed make sure to do the breaths right and don't stop until emergency personel are there. Seriously, the CPR is the only thing that gives the people a shot and if you don't know how to do it take a class.

Not in the hallway I'm sure, but in that room, yes. Plus it is low quality security camera footage, if someone shined a flashlight into the lens you'd get all kinds of cool glares.

It's a glare, that happens to look like an angel... I have a (no joke) Cheeto that looks like the Virgin Marry, and a wooden board that has a knot in it that looks like Jesus.

Why do they look like these things? Because we have a pre-conceived idea of what the Virgin Marry and Jesus look like. Even though there is no way anyone could know.

It's sort of like those negative space optical illusions.

An angel saved me twice:

Once when I fell off a cliff in San Diego.

The other time when I was on a bike ride in the Catskill mtns.

Those are only two times that I am aware of...
