When a member insults another member, the aggrieved party can report the post and, in my experience, the offending language will be deleted. What recourse, if any, does a member have if a Café staff person insults you in a post in a debate in which you are both participants?

It doesn't matter whether the member is on staff or not. You can always report a post that offends you.

Randwill, that sometimes happens in the heat of a debate. Dave Scribner has had to ban Steve Brooks on occasion because Steve became 'mouthy' with me. I usually turn the other cheek, but Dave says he will not tolerate 'mouthiness', no matter who it's from.

I do not know where I would be without Dave Scribner. Probably banned.

Actually, Mike, Dave told me in a PM that if it were up to him, you would have been banned five years ago.
