Doug is right again....I also use Balducci as my information gatherer. You mention "680/280 interchange, the highway to nowhere" and, by golly, Balducci will do a search on it.

So the argument is if we can dismiss ONE of the Skeptics as a whackjob, then Global Warming is true?
Back to logic and science class with you. Using the same logic, shall we simply dismiss Global Warming because of Gore's unregulated, unaudited Indian Reservation based carbon credit slush fund? Here's an idea, how about we treat science as science and not a political religion. When "Global Warming" can face the real scientific inquiry process and emerge on the other side intact, then you may have something. But, the fact of the matter is, it has NOT. Not even the basis of temperature measurement holds up to the most basic scrutiny. http://www.surfacestations.org/about.htm http://www.surfacestations.org/ The majority of US Surveyed stations (68%) have been demonstrated to have a Class 4 or Class 5 violation by the governments own standards which will cause an error of between 2-5 degrees, with another 18% giving a 1 degree error. This terribly error-prone data was the basis of the claim that the earth is warming by a degree or two. Fortunately some people are paying attention at the most basic level and not just buying what lobbyists and politicians are selling for their own agendas.

Mr. Cheese...I don't see anybody trusting anybody for any reason that MATTERS...just commenting and presenting sides and a column...nothing is hanging in the balance on these threads at themagiccafe...it's all just spittin' on the stove...how you and others react TO any column is the sizzle to watch for light entertainment. It doesn't matter a hoot in hell what I think about it one way or the other...sometimes the music sucks but it's still fun to watch the dance.
By the way...the one post comment is more than a gag really...the above posters ALL of them have been fighting the SAME argument here for YEARS...nothing new...we've heard it all many times...being new you wouldn't know that... That evil Canadian up there was just as full of it years ago...right Jhon? He wears an official PeePee Hat for being so steady at it.

Most of us take this section of the Café as a joke area...that's why the posts don't count...and the threads are light and pretty much silly.

Honestly Philly, your starting to act like an Eagles fan. You haven't posted your personal thoughts this is true, but you've completely shown your attitude toward particular sides of the discussion AND which side of the political fence you fall on. This done while ragging on everybody else for their thoughts in an off topic forum in an off topic thread. AND you've got 1 post. YOU actually fit the troll definition better than anybody else here. That even includes Magus up there of whom I can barely agree with that the background of this forum is green.
Your a form of Concern troll, except you contributed less. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_troll

Sorry my man, he started the thread. It's HIS topic. Now, if this were a Pro Global Warming Forum then I'd say your correct.

Thanks for the favor. I'm sure you'll do well here and have lots to contribute to magic and performing. The Café is poise4d for your breakout...be advised though that there are many close friends here who have posted together for years...you might want to get to know some before accusing and tossing names about...or not.

Have fun at Misdirections. Thanks.
As to Mr. Phillip Cheese, I find it near breathtaking that an entire lifes work, intelectual output and specifically contributions to this forum have been judged worthless by reading one joke post. Truly Amazing. Though that tends to say more about the 'judge' than the 'accused'.

... oh give it a rest already ... whether you have many posts elsewhere on this board or not doesn't change whether or not you are trolling in THIS one forum ... you said yourself in this very thread that you post to generate emotional response and create a little dance going for your own amusement ... I'm not accusing I'm calling you on what YOU said about YOURSELF ... don't make me quote your own words back at you again ... ... as for my low post count I keep my magic related stuff for the genii forum ... where you might know me better as 'jt' ... its a nice place except for the spelling nazis ... actually its the punctuation nazis who really get on my case ...

I don't like any of you.
Magic is doing improbable things with odd items that, under normal circumstances, would be unnessecary and quite often undesirable.
