Today is national Good Riddance day. Funny how these holidays just pop up...lol

You are supposed to say good riddance to something of 2008.

I'm saying goodbye to "suckers" this year. Some people just didn't get the joke, so I am dropping it from the act.

What are you going to be glad to say 'good riddance" to?

I trust I won't be too cryptic if I say I'm going to wait and celebrate it towards the end of January.

I'm not going to be sarcastic any more.

I'm not going to be pessimistic anymore.

Like that's going to do any good...

This is actually an amazing coincidence.

I had never heard of Good Riddance Day.

But I have been trying over the last 4 or 5 weeks to get rid of stuff - I inherited my least favourite of my Scottish Grandmothers traits - hoarding.

And only last night I realised I wasn't really getting rid of much at all and so there are full charity bins in all the surrounding suburbs this morning.

I feel like a huge burden has been lifted this morning - so many things I never used and the makings of projects that I'd have never realised.

I am cutting back to what I do use and will make definite use of - everything else goes to people who can put it to use.

A lot of vampire stuff got booted - if any poor goth kids hit the local second hand shops in the next few weeks they'll be having a very happy New Year.

Have me come over Plastic. My wife has things she cares about, I have almost nothing in my life I'm attached to that isn't alive. She hates when I clean a room because I throw out everything I can get my hands on...if it belongs to her.

As for riddance I'm going to get rid of my attempts to understand what the heck Justin Style is rambling about.

Good riddance to cancer! Or as a great man once said, "Cancer Schmancer!"

I think I'll say good riddance to disorganization and clutter. I've been using my vacation time to thin things out and put them in order. I think by Jan 1'st, it will be history. I have large, industrial shelves in my magic room and they are overflowing with illusions, but I now have them looking real nice. And I swear they will stay that way.

Then I am saying good riddance to my chess games. Well at least the written ones. I have probably a good thousand plus games I've recorded on paper sheets, and I had them in a binder thick enough to choke a horse. Weighs a ton! But I'm entering each game by hand meticulously into my Palm Pilot and as I complete each one, I crumple it into a ball and do a Michael Jordan into the trash can. And that binder is getting lighter by the day. So, good riddance!

Holy S! is that really you, Scott?!?

WOW, I am so happy to see that you made it through your surgery! Congratulations!

And since this is good riddance day...good riddance to cancer!

And I am flattered that you're strong enough to make it to the key board and respond to my post! I can't wait to hear all about your trip. I'm gonna head right over to the other section to read all about it!

Welcome home, Scott!

Rest up and get well soon. If you need anything from this part of town, let me know...anything!

Better one.

What was the question again?
Magic is doing improbable things with odd items that, under normal circumstances, would be unnessecary and quite often undesirable.
