Here is my new C&B routine. I am making it into an e-book very soon. It is perfect for table-hopping because it resets instantly.

Pretty good. The kitchen background should have at least been straightened up. There is a better way to flip a cup. I'll PM a reference.

It was ok but there were several moves that were a bit too obvious.
The through the hand move is one of them that should be done with a minimum of hand movement or else it is very obvious what is going on. Good thinking though. Mobius |

It's a nice routine. There were some very obvious moves in there and you flashed the red once. Also, it's not very good for table hopping because it takes up too much space on the table and three cups is quite a bit to carry around. I'm just giving my opinion based on about 5 or 6 years of working restaurants. The routine is very nicely put together however.

That was fun to watch. Another routine using 3-colored balls, something I need to learn.
Thanks for sharing that. PEOPLE, when making a video, turn off the background lights, turn on the foreground lights. Use a desk lamp or table lamps closer to the table, this way the balls will be more visible. YouTube tends to degrade the quality, so a little over-exposure might help. |

What kind of cups are these anyway? Are they mini or regular size? They look like Monti cups from RNT.

Nice routine - I liked the ball through hand sequence. It would be good to incorporate a final sequence to reveal large loads, though. Giant pom-poms in the same colours would be perfect.
I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I only lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three. Elayne Boosler

Would the Giant Pom-poms stick inside the cups?

Very nice, I would say either change your performing surface, or change the purple ball. Too hard to see, they should really POP. Other than that, very good job.

I greatly enjoyed the routine. Those of us who are visitors to Michaels craft stores know that pom poms can be purchased in a bag of varying sizes and colors!
Have you toyed at all with final loads of larger size pom poms (maybe all the same - 4th - color - just a thought)

I guess I'm in the minority here. I personally found the routine boring and redundant, and lacking the most important thing any effect must have, which is a climax - unless you consider all three balls appearing under one cup to be an adequate climax. If you do consider that an adequate climax for a C&B routine then you could have stopped at ~ 1:45 in the performance.
On the other hand, if you feel the primary mystery is that you are using three different colored balls, allow me to suggest finding ways of making that idea work without having to openly rearrange the ball placement or the cup placement as the routine progresses. Even from the standpoint of a total laymen I think those unmotivated open switches (and having to look down into the cups to remember which one goes where) would be a serious hint as to method. What you need more than anything else, however, is less redundancy and some final loads - in my opinion. TW

Thanx for the input. I do have a large load ending, but it looks bad on video because you cannot misdirect the camera, so I left it out for the video. The e-book will have the final load sequence explained. I actually do not know what kind of cups those are. I found them at a magic junk swap meet LOL. However, Pete, I don't think that they are Morrissey. Bill, can you ID those cups? I will say that one of them is a chop cup.

There were some nice moments, for sure. The criticism that stuck out in my mind was when you lifted the cups from the table so as to retain the ball in the cup. I know that for this to be done, the cup must be lifted in a special manner, but it did make my radar go on pretty quickly.

That was my biggest "signal" that something was going on. I'm wondering if there's an alternative that could work for that. I can think of some Chop Cup style gaffing, that might be worth it if it eliminates a "tell."

Try gimmicking the balls and use a PK ring.
