JOL's single holder. Onosaka purses (and Onosaka styled purses) I would use if it adds to either the presentation of an effect or if it is actually part of the effect.

I do not like the look of coin purses. I used to use the leather ones with internal clasps, because they didn't look as goofy, but they were having severe effects on my nice shiny coins. (A few of my Ike's turned yellow! Gross).
I now use the Coin Tidy which holds my coins across and my hopping halves just perfectly. It is the best coin wallet I have ever used, and it looks good too. |

That's the one I use ShawmB. The Onasaka purses are good for purse routines without looking goofy but if it's just for carrying coins, the JOLs are my way to go.

If your coin is turning yellow then I think that is the result to a fake purse (one sentance I never would have thought of saying). I baught a knock off Onasaka purse at a magic shop a while ago and I found out it is fake and not as good as the Onasaka purse. I have yet to hear anything negative about those.

Yes, it is very close in shape to the back hole I use, so it makes for a magical transformation from the hole into the purse.

I told to my friend in NYC:
"I wanna this purse", and I show her an onosaka. She send me the Vinyl Goshman jeje... but its ok. I like it too, and I will used it in other routine. p.d: I wake up recently. I dreamed I was with a lot of coin magicians, and of course, the NYCM team jajaja. All we eated rice, and I, in my dream did the "Tenkai Rice" jajaja. All do a lot of strange routine. For example, Mike Gallo taped it Rubinstein and Roth in scotch, in the end of his routine... I don't remember why. Mr. Roth did " Coin to Bill to Card", a card revelation. ummmm, I don't remember more. The strange thing was, that I dreamed in English, but I speak Spanish. I wanna buy the Dvds. Bye!!

I found Onosaka's coin purses work very well for me. I personally use all three sizes, depending on the trick, sold by SEO Magic:

I have a Goshman internal clasp in black leather, a JOL coin tidy, and a JOL single...they are all OK but I'm looking for something better...anyone have experience with Roy Kueppers's Keeper?
Any other purses that will hold 6 or more coins? |

Right now in the Italian leather coin purse that I sell (and carry daily in my pocket), I have 6 Franklin half dollars, two old pennies, a Franklin shell, a Franklin karate coin, a piece of polarized plastic (routine on the NEW DVD's from the NYCMS group),a FUSION quarter and matching set, and a Cig thru quarter gimmick. Not bad for a small purse!

Anyone with "purse" phobia should check out the "Real Man's Coin Wallet" at RFA Productions. Square, manly look, no clasps at the top, and a secret delivery system: http://www.rfaproductions.com/products/coinwallet.htm
Recently, I've been carrying my working coins in a Michael Ammar clip. It keeps them silent, and when you need the coins, you can just pop them out of the clip in your pocket. Either remove them openly, or palm them from there. At the end, you can vanish them all silently and you're reset.
