I am trying to develope a stage hypnosis routine with a spectator but for one part I plan on doing I want to have the spectator apparently hypnotised so that I can shine one of those little flashlights in there eyes to see if they follow the light and I want to have them not be able to follow. I'm not sure if it is already in print or not. Is there a way to do this? I know if you are unfocused then you can't follow it if it is a certain distance away but idk how to get them like this

Why? It sounds a waste of time and a bit ludicrous. Wouldn't you just be better doing a stage hypnosis course and showing some mercy towards your victims I mean participants?

Show some mercy to the audience as well.

Hi,

in McGilles Encyclopedia near the back of the book he outlies a number of peoples shows. One of them, I think it is Martin St James, does his opening stuff in three phases leaving his volunteers in hypnosis with their eyes open but still in their chairs.

It creates a spooky effect because the audience are looking at a row of people who are now hypnotised but have their eyes open and stare through them.

Get your suggestion right and I am sure you could wave/flsh things in front of them and they would not respond.

Give it a read if you have that book it might give you some ideas.
