I do a mean boomerang (a.k.a. long distance spinner) with regular cards. I've tried unsuccessfully to do it with Jumbos. My hands just aren't big enough/strong enough. Does anyone do a Frisbee-style boomerang or some double-handed version?

Are talking about just getting a jumbo card to boomerang back to you, or are you also talking about catching it between two selected cards in the deck?

Just getting it to come back. I'm working on a routine where I send out a flurry of cards from one hand and catch them in a hat in my other hand. I would be satisfied with just one jumbo to send out and come back to end the segment.

Try tossing the cards more vertically at first, yes it's less of a boomerang but similar effect on the audience. Are you using one hand like a frisbee or are you holding the deck with one hand and ejected crads singly from the deck using your thumb?

I hold the deck in one hand and zing them out with my thumb...but for the last card (a jumbo) I could do a frisbee throw -- maybe around my back.

I assume you're doing this on stage. Try using a strong black silk thread on the jumbo card and do the Hummer/UFO for a finish.
