I watched a guy (Michael Hutton)do what I could only call the opposite of the see-saw induction (would that be the saw-see?). In other words instead of reversing the heavy hand/light hand movement he actually accentuated it by moving the hands sharply in the area they were already moving (hope this makes sense). When I asked him about it in all fairness he said he knew of Robert's induction, adding that he thought it was fantastic, but wanted to know himself if, instead of a pattern interupt he could induce the state by speeding up the pattern, which in itself he suggested was in fact a pattern interupt (ie: from slow to fast).
I think I got what he was saying. Anyway, The result spoke for itself I guess. bobser.

Hi Bobser,
It's an interesting idea. I don't know of Michael and personally I'm not sure if I can see it working that way. It would end with the subject in quite an unusual position unless their arms at some point return to the lap position as they do in the See-Saw... However, I'm always interested in variations, as I taught a few on the DVD. Cheers, RT |
