Making fake glass is really quite easy. Recipies can be found all over the place. I always used this one (The very first on the page)for stage special effects.
http://www.angelfire.com/movies/nobudgetsfx/candyglass.html Also, "Geek Magic" DVD by Tom Medema has a good gaffed glass eating trick you might be interested in. However...You just might be on the verge of being verbally pummeled by the authentic glass eaters that post here. They do it for real. No candy. I have seen several of them do it up close and my own Sylver has had a bite or two herself. Just so you know. Gwyd |

You're talking about glass for eating?
For walking in...I've heard heated discussions about which is best, beer or wine bottles. Last summer, as part of my classes, we did a "taste test" with both, and with broken window glass. The window glass won, hands down, or feet down, as the case may be. I used window glass a lot, in the fall. It has some disadvantages. Being clear, it doesn't show up as well. But it has interesting advantages also, which I shall not discuss in public forum.

Window glass. . .interesting.
My instinct would have been that it would be more dangerous that bottles, and I would have guessed that one of the obvious advantages would also be a disadvantage. I'd like to discuss this with you, off forum, sometime.

I think I'd side with Stephon's logic on this, at first... Then I'd find myself thinking about chaos theory and wonder if it really makes any difference anyway...
I do like wine bottles, mostly 'caus I like to have someone smash a fresh one for me (wrapped in canvas, of course) just before I walk. I'll have to ponder the possibilities of window glass some more though. Gwyd, I love the video bit of Sylver snitching a piece for lunch... Very well played. |

I prefer the clear light bulbs for ceiling fans and such.
Hey Steve, what brand of moustache wax do you use? I used to go with Clubman, but found a really good brand online called Firehouse Moustache wax.

'Stash wax was in 2004.
Actually it was some kind of white hair color that dried stiff enough... Even had a nice point to the Van Dike if I was careful. Couldn't tell 'ya what brand I used for that show. Haven't done that look since. Still haven't found my Nips nail... Can't wait for the new ones. I'm back to my plexiglass nail since that $%^&* glass one broke! Who invented the glass nail anyway??? They showed how to make it in an episode of the Hulk Hogan and his WWF buddies cartoon in the 80's.
I think it was the same episode where he tore the sleeves off of a tuxedo to get into a fancy dinner party... Then again, I might be thinking of the Electric Company. Hench... Man... Henchman.
