Hey Rad, welcome to the Café...
That was really good...Nice routine. There was a slight flash but that stuff happens, no biggie. Still, you show good skills and presentation and with that really you can do pretty much anything. Look forward to more stuff from you here. Keep up the great work and again, "Welcome." -Mb

Thanks! Generally the flash was intended, but a lot of people perceive it as a mistake, so I'll change it! Let me explain You I wanted to show audience (accidentally of course) that the coin didn't vanish yet, and that's the effect. Miserable And how about the appearing part? Is it ok? I invented it:) The vanishing is borrowed from D. Roths stuff.

I really like the idea of producing the coins from the fist of the right hand. Like a wishing well. Very smooth. I can tell you have great presentational skills. That is the hardest part for most performers, but you got it!

Rad, I gotta tellya that I really did think that flash was on purpose (serioulsy because it was just too too obvious for a guy with such chops as yours), but still it seemed out of place and cause for unnecessary thought.
In general, if you have to explain why you did something in a presentation, then it didn't work. I mean it's not sending a clear enough message for the spec to follow without pause. I understand your usage of it here but it seems more clutter than necessary in such a nice routine. Like my friend BenSalinas mentions here, you got good skills so keep up the good work. -Mb

Hi Mb,Rannie,Sal, Ben S,Rizzo and Ben.
have a happy new year,a healthy one. Ok, I really believe Radmak used the flash as a subtlety, the timing was right as he was doing the RV, you can see a bit of a flash of the "coin"going into the left hand and then he opened that window as he squeezed his letf hand to create a bigger flash of it. I have used this subtlety in several routines. Radman, I suggest you display the coin s using just your thumb and index finger, your hand s will look soo much better as you display the coin s,you will be able to keep your fingers more relaxed as they hold out in FP and also you will be doing your audience a favor by letting them see the coin a bit better, especially if you are working with halves;in some cases you may need to have the ring finger next to the index,if you are going to do a move, otherwise just use index and thumb. I have seen soo many magicians displaying halves with very much all the fingers and the audience only can see like about a third of the coins,at least you used just 2 fingers which it is much better than 4 fingers.. Last but not the least, I suggest you FP the coin s only using your RING FINGER that is all you need, also your hand will look way better than they look in this video. Good job Radmak, and happy new year to you as well. peace. |

Thanks for advice. Especially the one about using ring finger. I really don't know why in that routine I used my middle finger. In others I use ring finger. Strange. I'll work on it.
Thanks for appreciate I'll change the part with flash, and of course place here some new stuff soon. R. Makar

Beautiful!
I loved your use of the Ramsey Subtlety at about 1:16. I do the hanging coins routine by Roth and I never thought to use the subtlety in that sort of way. It definitely shows very good routining skills, and great presentational thinking! Nice work! Josh |

Radmak,
Thanks for sharing your video ^_^ I thought it was very well made and your presentation was great -- I too especially enjoyed the coin production. The overall routine, to me, had a Hanging Coins meets Three Fly... very visual and you had an excellent use of feints (sp?) and timing. Thanks Again, Kyle |

One more time thanks. I'm currently working on 2 coins routine...
I've also invented a little prop today. Creates an effect like that: You have a small envelope. So small that contains only 1 coin. You take it out, put the envelope to Your mouth. You vanish a coin, and it suddenly reappears inside the same envelope. It can be used also to invisibly load 1 coin into Your palm Possibly there is already effect like the one in my description. If yes, please remember that I didn't know about that! Here's the link; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nc9fWET4ySs What do You think about it? Is it useful? I think it could be:) PS. I see a lot of people are from USA. Is here possibly anybody from Scotland? Aberdeen? I'm moving there on June Radek

You stole my envelope idea!!!
...just kidding, of course ^_^ I enjoyed that routine as well; you have excellent showmanship. However, I would refrain from producing the second coin -- showing anymore than one coin takes something away from the impossibility of the envelope effect (in my opinion, anyways)... maybe, I think, it would be best to just go into a different routine which calls for an extra palmed coin (as you said). Thanks Again, Kyle |
