If it were an extreme limited run of say, 100 copies, in a strange binding, leather clasps, with a ribbon marker tied to a Cthulhoid sigil - but it might make the price high (higher than the calculation of saying $11 in today's market )... hmm... like $80-100, would this kill the sales? Or you wild and crazy bizarrists going to snap it up anyway?
Also, maybe we'll put something strange and mysterious to find in the book...

It would be a real struggle for me, but I would snap like a crocodile.

OK - I'm going back to the shadows - it won't just be a reprint anymore... it appears Stephen would update the pieces based on the many years of experience (if this project works)... so - keep watching the skies! And the Ocean! And the Mountains of Madness! And the Plateau of Leng...
Also, we'll do it in a way to make it as affordable as possible!

A higher price would not deter me for a wonderful collector's piece that does it justice.
And may I suggest, including the Lovecraft story that each effect is based upon. That will give context and beef up the book.

It would definitely be a book that would go right up on the mantle.

Hmmm ... I have an original and this is the tome which got me started in Bizarre Magick in around 1989. I found LS at a local magic shop in Philly when I lived there along with copies of the New Invocation and it was all downhill from there.
I'd love a special edition, but don't know what I could pay. I was just let go from my day job as a software engineer on Jan. 6 ,after almost 12 years there. I'm actually taking a small break from revising the old resume. Magically, Dave Birtwell |

I've never had a copy of the original, so yes I would love to get one of these.

I also have a copy of the original LC. I would love to have a revised deluxe numbered edition in hardcover, with a drawing of Cthulhu bordered with curious runes heat-stamped on the front cover in silver or blood-red, with parchment-like pages with decorations similar to Andruzzi's "Grimoire of the Mages." A ribbon book mark would be nice, and why not a lock like "Andruzzi's Negronomicon?" Something like that would be worth $100+.
