I just wanted to take a minute to wish the very best to Larry (and his wife) as I just got word from Lee Earle about Larry's retirement from the entrepreneurial side of the business.
I had the opportunity to see both Larry and Lee at the last Mindvention and the talks and discussions I had with Larry and his (and Lee's) ideas will be appreciated and utilized for the rest of my performing career. Larry has ben a great influence to me showing me how performing can be fun, enjoyable and still professional at a level that Larry makes look effortless. His creations and ideas have become staples to an industry. When I think of Larry I immediately think of his attention to detail and being first class all the way. On several occasions Larry has made time to assist me and make himself directly available to me when needed. He has shown us what a true professional is both on stage as well as in business. Congratulations Larry and although we may miss your offerings, you have made an impact that will last a lifetime. Good for you, and I hope you'll take the time to enjoy the things most important to you. Best Wishes! |

Larry has been a major influence on me since my youth. My first solo mentalism book was his World of Super Mentalism. One could say that his work set me off on this crooked path. Although it isn't his fault, Larry deserves some of the blame.
Thank you Mr. Becker! Tony Iacoviello |

Congratulations Larry, I too cut my teeth on Super World of mentalism, and have never looked back. As the bumper sticker says "mentalists never retire, they only think they have." There are only two words to describe you, a legend.
Best Wishes, Mark

Thank you for a lifetime of contributions, dignity and grace. I've never heard of you being in a hassle, a fight, an argument or a put-down. It must be very nice to look back on your contributions and see how you have affected and molded this entire area of magic.
Countless people are the better for you being here. I certainly hope retirement doesn't mean you get to stop thinking. All the best. Live long and prosper.

Larry Becker is certainly a Legend. I too got into mentalism with his Super world of Mentalism book. In fact its still in my lybrary for references. He helped to make mentalism fun and very entertaining. His book Stunners is like a bible. I hope you enjoy your retirement Larry

Hey guys,
Larry Becker is definately one of the living legends of mentalism. He will hopefully continue to keep up with his life's passion, even during a well needed retirement! What do you think is the effect that Larry will be remembered for most? My favorites include Serial Killer, and, of course, Sneak Thief! Many others come to mind, but those are my favorite! Best, Paul h. |

Retirement is the only time in a persons life where he's given the opportunity to hear his eulogy while he's alive.
Mr Becker is a class act. He's one of four mentalists that I've looked up to, and have fed off of. |

Roger, that motorcycle ride was one of the most memorable
rides I have ever taken. And I've been taken for a ride on occasions I prefer not to remember. Sitting in that sidecar gave me a new perspective on life in general. Like being dragged on your rear end at 50 miles an hour. All kidding aside, lecturing around the world was fun, but the ride you gave me on that gorgeous hog of yours was the high spot. Thanks for reminding me. Although I truly never forgot it. Warmest regards- Larry And thank you all for your kind remarks about my 65 + years in magic. It's been a great ride.

Larry, Tom could not have put it better. I cannot boast of being one of your long time friends, but I am certainly one of your many great admirers. You recently went to the trouble of writing me a long letter that deeply touched me. I actually had it framed and it hangs on the wall lest I never forget the invaluable advice you gave me, to someone you did not know, someone unimportant far away on the other side of the globe. As Tom says, countless people are the better for you being here. I am one of them. Kaarlo von Freymann Helsinki Finland
