Escape artist and magician Kristen Johnson's name pops up in an Associated Press article reporting on the NBA. "Assistants had to open a sealed water chamber to rescue award-winning magician Kristen Johnson as she performed an escape act at midcourt during halftime of the Pistons-Thunder game in Oklahoma City. She waved to the crowd during the third-quarter break to show she was OK."

Kevin & Kristin are good friends of mine and post here occasionally. Kristin is OK, and recovering, but if you saw the footage you know that this was a true close call. Very scary. All of the friends of kevin & Kristin wish them well and want them to know that we are all praying for them!

OMG the video is scary. I'm so happy she was alright. I have enjoyed watching her perform it on youtube but this was not enjoyable to see. She is very brave.
