That's right Greg. It's "Broken."
Turns out that it seems it made you stronger. Tends to happen with broken-ness. D |

I was born as a lefty, and spend a little time being a lefty until my Mom decided to bind my left hand to force me use my right hand only, because she believed in a superstition circulating in my locality that lefties are 'of the Devil'.
Sad... But my bring righ-handed didn't stop me from being devilish...Bwahaha! >:) But I can mirror-write with my right hand still. My personal notes on mentalism are ALL in mirror-writings (for fun or for being cryptic)... |

I'm pretty sure that left handed sinister mentalists are also very talented at bocci ball.
Just an idea. D |

Left Handed. Made me one of the strange ones at school. Guess it stuck.

I'm not ambidextrous now, and in fact have never been able to breathe under water.
I am, however, right handed. Does that mean that I'll always be rubbish at mentalism? Tell me now before I waste any more time. Or have to start trying to learn how to move to the sinister side. |

I'm left, but then again I'm only part mental. When I was growing up (and I stopped that at 18), I can only remember one person giving me grief about my left handed ways. After I banished him to hell, I don't recall anyone bringing it up again.

I am right handed, yet I do card sleights left handed, eat left handedly...but write and sketch right handedly...
I am in fact, bambidextrous - meaning that I can handle a small deer equally well with either hand...

Iain, ironic. I am left handed but do card sleights right handed.
I think it's because it was always too confusing to switch things around when reading the books growing up. (which I started doing when I was 18). Choreography of one or two routines that required handling cards and writing something down was always difficult. |

Come to think of it, I do a lot of my card work from the left...maybe it's a political thing...and of course I know nothing of politics...

Oh, and if its any use to you, I've taken tests and apparently I use both sides of my brain equally in problem solving...rather than having a bias for left/right hemisphere...

The left/right side of the brain thing is largely a myth. The actual division in brain function, and how areas of the brain are used in conjunction with each other is far, far more complicated - and renders the whole concepts of a 'creative left side' etc as nothing more useful than a presentational angle (providing your audience aren't too clued up).
Again, the book "This is your brain on music" referenced a few weeks ago r.e. "it takes 10,000 to become an expert in something" has more detailed info... although I'm sure it's easy to google.

Thank you prof. Sicseek.
I feel enlightened by your brief explanation. To be honest I always thought believing in the left/right brain was same thing as believing in Santa Claus... Ops!... Sorry, I have to go... The Easter Bunny has just knocked at my door. But, before I go to open the door...I hereby confess I secretly envy you... I cannot even begin to imagine how it feels when one knows all of anything and everything like you do...
Then you'll rise right before my eyes, on wings that fill the sky, like a phoenix rising!

A lot of creative people are left handed. I majored in theatre in University and almost half the students were lefties! I'm not one of them.

Bat left.
Throw right. Card sleights left. Write right. Shoot rifle left, pistol right. I consider myself a righty, but for those exceptions list above. |

I am also left handed but before you accuse me of being a leftist I would like to say that many of my friends are right handed.
