Hi eddini, just watched your trick, thank you for sharing your magic.
As one small feedback to you, would suggest to not call the trick by name, when you place it. I do not know if other magicians would share this opinion. Anyway I want to share it with you. People will watch in a different way: In your title you put "The vanishing deck" When you do not announce what effect will come, the vanishing of the deck will be more impressive. Now people can watch it and are just waiting for the effect that will happen, cause they allready know what will happen anyway. so far... thank you, papillon |

I see what you are saying in this instance at least. I've never thought of it. On occasion, even when street performing, I will call a trick be name unless it gives away the ending. To me it doesn't ruin the Magic. Just like musicans introduce different songs and have different songs, I do the same for the most part. I don't make sure I do of course but if I think about it which is half the time, I will. Like with in a flash, I psyche people up by saying "Now tell me have you ever seen a card trick that involves coin money and fire?" Or I might say, "You'll love this, it's called In a Flash and you'll see why". Or I won't name the trick, until afterwards, like after performing a trick I'll say "and that's called Scotch and Soda my friends. I don't think it ruins the magic )UNLESS as you said it gives away the punchline so to speak) as some Magician sat oh never name a trick by name as tricks aren't supposed to have names afterall to them "it's magic". To each their own, and your welcome my friend, Ed, Ed? Ed who? Why (Eddini) of course...lol. CH.

Awww...Thanks Mike I appreciate that. Yes there's this black case all of a sudden on one of my deck of cards, it's hard to justify, but I tried my best, guess it flies, good to know. Okay for those who have this trick (I call tricks-tricks 75% of the time, I don't care for the word effect it just sounds weird "A Efffeeeecccttt" you know...lol), how much did they pay for this. I paid at Hank Lee's for it $45.00, but then I've seen it go for like $10.00-$20.00 in other print advertisements. Now I got this Faedko or however it's spelled video called "Platform & CloseUp Magic", and and I love that vanishing deck better plus it can turn into like candy or sliced up cards. Also they have the best tip-over block I've seen. I wasted money on the telekinetic timber (and yes as I did a post on it people said not to give up on it and try different angles and YES I DID TRY), then I bought "The Block" thing is I NEVER EVER perform with sleeves, and don't even wear a watch, as I can't stand people saying "It went up his sleeve". Anyway Fedko' block is surefire. *** how did I go from thanking someone on the vanishing deck to a tip-over block...HaHaHa, Ed, (Eddini), C.H.
