Smile Real Ghost or RG2 will do this perfectly, remote control. The first part of this clip shows it in action close up but it works just as well from 50 feet away: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=un4anemN80I

All the best,

I had an idea some time back that I made up and it works very well. It uses a larger candle (about 2 inches across, about 5-6 inches tall) on a taller (about 6-7 inches) candlestick, and works very well. Takes some work to make one, but not outside of the abilities of most people. PM me if you're interested.

For the sake of completeness, you may want to check out Korem Without Limits by Danny Korem.

All kidding aside, for background decor, they are pretty nice, and so long as no one gets near them, you'd never know they weren't real.
Just hanging out with the rest of my fellow dregs.

Good. Corinda's method is hit-n-miss, and I never found it satisfactory. Wax clogs were the usual trouble, and no work-around ever solved it.

Quite agree - hence I stand by Borodin's & Roni's methods.

Can someone tell me - does Rick Haslett's candles switch off remotely, or just on??
Cheers

Steve,

Just on (it's great), unless he's come up with something only very recently that also extinguishes it.

To Rick: looks like a pretty good size market just awaiting for you to create one that "de-lights" as well.

I've had several ask me about the method I mentioned, and I guess I should have told everyone: if you're interested, PM me with an e-mail address. I only have it in a Word-doc, and would have to e-mail it to you.

Rick this is a nice set of ideas - and closer to the method prvided to me by Roni than ant other in print. Thanks for sharing!
P.s. What a great website & practice! You're obviously 'living the dream'. Hats off to you! Bravo!
