Hi everyone:
I just wanted to share my happiness with you about my first magic show. Normally I do storytelling which in itself is no mean feat. But this past Saturday, along with 2 other magicians, I performed my first show combining storytelling AND magic and it really went wonderfully well. We played to a full house and made a lot in food donations to a local church's food pantry. I had created a new character, Robin of Avalon and did some "dark" magical illusions including invoking the Icy Breath of the Dragon and turned water poured into a magical chalice into ice. I was told by an audience member that it was very convincing. Well, I just wanted to let you guys know. Peace. Rob McCabe |

Great Rob, and welcome to the forums. You might want to hang out some in two of our forums that deal a lot with story telling and magic. Both in the general group called "The Cellar". From what you wrote above I think if you read around in the "Spookey, Mysterious and....Bizarre" You might get some good ideas for future routines. The second forum is right under it in the Cellar.
